Working Groups

Earlier this year, the Downtown Denver Partnership, Denver Civic Ventures, and the City and County of Denver sought community members who were interested in volunteering for a working group. Each working group acted as a task force to identify issues/concerns and opportunities for a topic related to the Downtown Denver Area Plan, and included representatives from the project team as well as members of the public. In addition, each working group:

  • Researched national “best practices” and brainstorm possible alternatives
  • Finalized possible alternative approaches
  • Presented the final alternatives at the Steering Committee meeting in August
